How to get to the Aiguebelette Parapente school in Savoie

You can visit us at our premises for information on our introductory flights and paragliding courses, or to purchase specialist equipment from our shop, located at: 284 Route du Goutier, Novalaise (73470).
The school is situated in the Goutier industrial estate at the entrance to the village of Novalaise, on the road to the Col de l’Epine.

How to get to Aiguebelette Parapente?

Travelling by car

Aiguebelette Parapente is easily accessible by car via the A43 motorway and exit 12 (Lac d’Aiguebelette), which leads directly to the Nances and Novalaise areas. This proximity to the motorway makes the school particularly easy to reach from the major towns in Savoie, Isère, the Lyon area and Geneva.

Travelling by train

If you’re travelling by train, there are several stations you can use as your destination, depending on where you’re coming from: Chambéry – Challes-les-Eaux, Aiguebelette-le-Lac and Lépin-le-Lac – La Bauche all have an official SNCF / Gares & Connexions information sheet. Once you arrive, you’ll need to make the rest of the journey by car, taxi or bus to reach Novalaise or the meeting point for your first paragliding experience in Nances.

Travelling by bus or local transport

The area is also served by Cars Région Savoie. Regional bus routes serve Novalaise and the northern part of the lake, notably via the Nances Maison du Lac stop.

For tandem paragliding first flights, the meeting point is not at the school’s premises, but at our partner Vertes Sensations, located at the roundabout at junction 12 ‘Lac d’Aiguebelette’ on the A43, in Nances, directly opposite the harbour and on the opposite corner to the Maison du Lac.
