Paragliding flight packages in Savoie
Fly whenever you like, improve your skills safely and validate your level
What is the Flight Package?
Flight packages are designed for pilots who have already started their training and wish to continue developing their skills without having to undertake a full 5-day course. The packages are intended for pilots who have completed at least one introductory course and have flown at least two solo flights.
Flight packages take place exclusively at weekends and allow you to continue progressing through simple, supervised flights, to build your flying independence, to improve your technique and, depending on your actual level, to prepare for a licence exam. It is therefore a very useful option for those who wish to progress in stages, within a more flexible framework than a week-long course.
The Flight Package programme
Tailor-made weekend sessions
For pilots who have never flown with the Aiguebelette Parapente school before, a skills assessment on the training slope is scheduled for the first day from 9.00 am to midday. This refresher session is a prerequisite before setting off on longer flights with the team. It allows us to check basic reflexes, the quality of the wing inflation, body movements and the pilot’s ability to correctly follow safety instructions.
Flight packages accommodate up to 7 people, allowing for thorough instructional support whilst benefiting from a group dynamic. Packages are valid for 12 months.
Full-day package for licence progression
This package can also be used to sit the A2 / Initial or B / Pilot licence exams. The assessment day consists of a theory test (multiple-choice) and a practical assessment of your flying ability.
Who is the flight package designed for?
The flight package is designed for pilots who don’t want to lose their touch after their initial training. It is ideal for those who need to fly regularly, practise the correct techniques, gain experience and progress towards a more independent level, without necessarily committing to a full course straight away.
It is also a highly suitable option for pilots wishing to prepare for or take a federal licence, which certifies a level of theoretical and practical competence.
Mandatory inspection of personal equipment
If you have your own flying equipment, it will be subject to a mandatory check; please do not hesitate to contact the office to discuss this before you arrive for the course. This rule contributes to the overall rigour of the course and the priority given to safety, both in terms of equipment and supervision.
Why choose the flight package?
It’s also an attractive option because it’s tailored to the realities of many pilots: availability mainly at weekends, the need to ease back into flying gradually, and the desire to obtain an A2 / Initial or B / Pilot licence without having to undertake a long course.
